Dr. Stanley C. Evans, Family Doctor in Denton, TX

Dr. Stanley C. Evans is Board Certified in Family Medicine and received his D.O. degree from the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Ft. Worth, Texas. After obtaining his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of North Texas in Denton, he began his post-graduate training at the Osteopathic Medical Center of Texas in Ft. Worth, Texas.

His training included family medicine, cardiology, sports medicine, gynecology, pediatrics, and ICU care. Dr. Evans was included to the National Honor Medical Fraternity, Sigma Sigma Phi.

Dr. Evans was recently appointed as Chief of Staff at Denton Regional Medical Center.

Veronica R. Sirls, RN, MSN, FNP-BC, Family Nurse Practitioner.

Veronica joined Family Healthcare in Denton in June of 2004. She brings to our practice 20 years of health care and social service experience. Like her colleagues, Veronica practices evidence-based, comprehensive care and enjoys promoting wellness for your entire family. She volunteers on an annual basis with Denton ISD to provide sports physicals to area student athletes. Prior to joining Family Healthcare of Denton, Veronica worked in pediatrics. She began her nursing career as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room at Childrens Medical Center of Dallas. Veronica attended Texas Woman's University of Denton where she received both her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Nursing. Veronica is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is a member of the Denton Area Nurse Practitioners Association. In her spare time, Veronica enjoys spending quality time with her husband Rick, and three children

Krystal, Bobby, and Brannon. She especially enjoys spoiling her grandson Kaden.

Shantelle Lawler, NPC, Family Nurse Practitioner. Shantelle brings 18 years of Nursing experience with her to Family Healthcare of Denton and volunteers her time and abilities for annual physicals to student athletes at Liberty Christian School. Shantelle received her Associates Degree in Nursing in 1993 from Cooke County College. Later she attended Midwestern State University where she received her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Nursing Practices. She has been certified as a Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is also a member of the Texas Nurse Practitioner Association as well. Shantelle enjoys family time with her husband and two daughters and is also an avid runner.

Jisha Chacko, RN, MSN, FNP-BC, Family Nurse Practitioner. Jisha joined Family Healthcare of Denton in February of 2011. With her she brings 11 years of nursing experience. Prior to joining Family Healthcare of Denton, Jisha worked as an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse at Denton Regional Medical Center. Jisha received her Master's Degree in Nursing from Texas Woman's University in Denton, Texas. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Away from work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, especially her husband Alex and two wonderful children, Ria and Isaac.
